Who we are
The THC Foundation is a Botswana registered non-profit organization dedicated to providing support to Women and Children who are victims of domestic violence
Globally, it is said that at least one in four women (25%) has experienced domestic violence in her lifetime and more than five children die every day as a result of child abuse.
This is a problem that is experienced throughout the world with no prejudice against age, race , culture or financial standing.
The figures in Botswana are equally as alarming THC Foundation seeks to highlight the plight of women and children in this country

Our Mission
To provide support and promote the advocacy, training and education to women and children who are victims of domestic violence.
Our Vision
To create a Botswana in which women and children live in violent free homes.
Our board
Lieutenant General Tebogo Masire
Former Commander of the Botswana Defence Force. He also holds a BSc Degree from Troy State and an MBA from University of Southern Queensland.
Orefitlhetse ‘Ore’ Catherine Masire
Ms. Masire is the executive director of Career Diversity. She holds a Masters degree in Strategic Management ( University of Derby), Bsc. in Business Administration and Human Resource Management from Auburn University USA.
Kago Mmopi
Kago is the former DTC Botswana’s Corporate Communications & Public Affairs Manager. He holds a BSC in Marketing.
Hon. Kitso Mokaila
Honorable Onkokame Kitso Mokaila is the former Botswana’s Minister of Works, Transport and Communications. He holds a BSC in Engineering
